Is Human life measurable?
Is Human life measurable?

Is human life measurable? Who is responsible to set those variables? Should political or economical contributors set the standard to human life value? Covid-19 is killing and destroying many innocent lives. In a crisis, many unite courageously to help those who are innocent and help industries recover when it is threatened. Erroneously, unconscious or conscious, less effort is invested in saving lives based on personal accountability. We have become desensitized to human life if that which is threatening human life comes from one’s own choices. Preventable, many through lifestyle, heart disease have caused the lives of over 600,000 people in 2017 and diabetes death toll was over 83,000 that same year. hashtag#Suicide continues to be in the top 10 causes of death, a hashtag#mentalhealth stigma that many community resources continue to struggle to find adequate funds to support those treatment programs. I hope that one positive thing that comes out of the hashtag#Covid-19 pandemic is that we begin to see human life value, unconditionally. Imagine how much better our world would be now if we had put this much effort, globally, to world problems pre-Covid-19 or had continued funding support programs that help laboratories detect viruses that spread from animal to human could have saved lives today.
